YES. This is a wonderful piece of storytelling… because I would DEFINITELY want to identify the bathrooms wherever I go!
You know, I’ve gotten some flack in the past with other projects for including answers to such unglamorous questions as “where to they go to the bathroom.” But you have to write the story that’s true to you, and those for whom it’s also true will find it! 😀
How do you actually pronounce Ina’s name? EE-na or AI-na? And Laisrén…. I always pronounced it lies-wren but I’m pretty sure that’s a long way off XD
I always hear Ina’s name pronounced “AI-na,” but I still catch myself saying “EE-na” inside my own head. Laisrén’s name is pronounced “lesh-RAWN” believe it or not!
I once read in a newspaper article an interview with an old man who lived in the desert. The reported asked what he had learned in his life. “1. Always take water into the desert. 2. Never turn down the chance to go to the bathroom.”
Works for me.
